OPPOSITION PARTIES are tarnished, while NERA National Electoral Reform Agenda parties are now Zimbabwe’s lifeline for 2018 ballot.
The National Electoral Reform Agenda (Nera) are facing typical Zanu pf time delaying tactics and opposition force intimidation tactics, already evident through the Joint Operations Committee (Joc) summon to NERA to attend a meeting with them on Monday 20 th March 2017.
The pro Zanu pf Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (Zec) has also called upon the NERA parties to meet with them on Tuesday 21st March 2017
Amazingly, it has suddenly become imperative for them to meet these bodies, but to the DISCERNING eyenewzimbabwevision, says that it all stems from the NERA planned protest to be held on Wednesday demonstration.against Mugabe’s Zanu pf regime’s attempt to hijack the procurement of Zimbabwe’s biometric voter registration (BVR) kits issued by the (UN) United Nations Development Programme.
It is evident that such an action is Mugabe’s Zanu pf regime’s attempt to rig the 2018 ballot but the NERA opposition parties are standing their ground as they are geared towards withdrawing from the 2018 ballot if the government does not avail the BVR kits.
It is therefore imperative that all opposition come forward and unite under the umbrella of NERA and fight against a common enemy together as one instead of breaking up into small opposition forces fighting each other with their heels dug well into their corners.
Some of the opposition force names particularly powerful opposition such as MDC T and MDC are in a sense tarnished by their past association with Zanu pf under the Government of 2008 to 2013, which served nothing but to delay our freedom as they failed to implement any electoral reform signed up to by Mugabe and opposition principals after Mbeki intervened. This has created mass distrust from the people left confused now on who to follow or whom to discard.
However, unity of all opposition under NERA, does away with such confusion and will allow the people of Zimbabwe to focus on real issues that directly affect their future, in this case, Mugabe and his Zanu pf. Zimbabweans will under NERA, have a simple choice in voting either vote Zanu pf and continue under ‘black oppressors of blacks’ Mugabe and his Zanu pf or vote for NERA umbrella body and liberate yourselves, your children and future descendants from Mugabe, Zim1 family , Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats,…wake up Zimbabwe, do not take 2018 ballots for granted!
Failure to resolve their differences soon or put aside their issues and fully unite under NERA will only lead the nation into escorting Mugabe and his Zanu pf to yet another rigged ballot and guaranteed victory against the people,..suffice it is to say Wake up Zimbabwe!…By Sibusiso Ngwenya
